LibriVox provides free audiobooks from the public domain. There are several options for listening. The first step is to get the mp3 or ogg files into your own computer:

If you like audiobooks, check out this site that’s an extension of the Gutenberg Project, source of gobs of free ebooks in various formats. These works are all public domain. I am a great fan of public domain books, because I can’t afford to buy books on my fixed income, and ebooks give me a chance to read without holding a book, which is physically painful for me. If you know anyone elderly or handicapped with Internet access, please pass on these two sites, and open this new world to them. Especially in this Christmas season, many elderly and handicapped have no one to visit them, and need a way to pass the time. Consider donating your old computers [still working, please] to your nearest Senior Center or nursing home, if they have an Internet connection, for the use of residents.
